I wanted to say a few words about the football figure Glenn made for my son, Asante Das! I was in a panic to have this figure made because of what it meant to the family after the sudden death of my sister (Asante's Aunt and God-Mother, Anjali Marie Das Arnold). It was originally a going away gift for college, but the plans were changed due to Covid19 and the original maker could not keep his commitment!
I was in a panic, but I searched and found Glenn's website which turned out to be a blessing.
Glenn was the nicest and kindest gentleman I have ever met!! He was upfront and made no promises, but after discovering the sensitivity of the situation, he said he would make every effort possible to have it done.
The "catch" was a unique pose because it encapsulated the play which helped put the Allatoona Bucs  into the Georgia 2019-2020 6A State Championship!
The craftsmanship is second to none! Glenn's work far surpassed and exceeded my expectations! Glenn was a joy to work with and delivered precisely on every aspect of the project!
Asante was blown away on Christmas when he opened it! He was speechless and totally surprised by the level of detail!
My entire family was so thankful and shocked by the resemblance, it was a major hit for all of us!
We have several other parents interested in having Glenn make a sports figure for their kid!
I highly recommend Glenn's Sports Figure to capture your "Once in a life time moment" for you or a loved one!!!!!

I tried to find a quality figure of Sandy Koufax for a long time. I finally decided to have one custom made and looked into several sports figure artists before I found Glenn D’Avanzo. Glenn accepted my request but probably did not know how fussy I would be dealing with me. Going through the process was very enjoyable

for me, as we were in constant contact through pictures, texts and emails. I expected the finished figure to be special but I was speechless at how extraordinary it turned out.

I have already commissioned Glenn to make a duplicate figure that I will send to Sandy Koufax as a gift. After that, I am having him make a particular Dallas Cowboys figure, and then, one of my granddaughter in a soccer pose. Glenn is meticulous and creative and worth the wait of having him produce a custom figure. I also found his pricing to be more than fair considering the amount of attention he pays to a project.

While looking for a way to have a sports figure customized to the likeness of my son for a Christmas gift, I came across D’Avanzo Sports Figures. I was immediately impressed with what I saw on the website, and requested Glenn D’Avanzo’s expertise. I cannot express enough how much it meant to me that Glenn cared to get every detail just right. Many photos were sent from my son Connor’s college football days, and close-ups of his face, as well. From the correct length of sleeve under the jersey to the tiny “W” stickers on the helmet — to the tiny logo on his quarterback towel —Glenn NAILED it. Upon receiving what was “the greatest gift ever,” Connor was speechless and just kept looking at his likeness. “Oh my gosh it’s really ME!” The figure will reside in his office, next to his helmet, and in plain view. THANK YOU, Glenn, for your attention to the tiniest detail, and your commitment and determination to get everything just right. 20 stars!

"I can't say enough about how amazing the figure Glenn created is.  He nailed every last detail of me in my uniform during my playing days, down to the exact cleats, socks, and gloves.  I have always wanted a custom figure of my college days, and the minute I spoke to Glenn on the phone, i knew i had just found the perfect artist- skilled, passionate, and 100% committed to getting the figure done exactly correct.  He communicated through the entire process to make sure each detail was correct.  The figure is a true work of art, I could not be happier.

My son Brett lost his Senior season at Father Judge High School due to Covid-19. With that, Brett never was fully able to wear #27 which is a number of honor at Judge. Glenn was able to perfectly capture Brett for us to see forever. Glenn's attention to detail is remarkable - he doesn't just repaint a figure he CRAFTS a masterpiece. There were pictures that I sent that lacked some detail, and while Glenn could have just gone ahead and left those out he emailed me to ask if I could provide more pictures. Glenn even put the artwork Brett has on his mask! Glenn didn't just provide a service and a figure, he locked a moment in time for us and we are very grateful of his excellence.

Our son is a goalie. Glenn did a fabulous job capturing him in one of his infamous glove saves. Glenn does an amazing job with every detail down to the puck marks on my son’s goalie pads. My son told me was the best birthday gift ever received.
